Include your device model, iOS version, CoolOps version and the steps that led to the issue. Remove customer names, addresses and other private job details from screenshots unless they are essential.

How we write the field guides
CoolOps publishes these guides for independent HVAC technicians and small shops in the United States. The same team publishes the CoolOps app, which is linked where it relates to the topic.
Each guide starts with a short answer, identifies its scope, links to the sources used for factual requirements and shows a checked date. Worked examples are fictional. They illustrate how to write a record; they are not accounts of real service calls or equipment test results.
We distinguish our own practical writing suggestions from published requirements. Regulatory material points to the responsible agency. Technical procedures belong with the equipment manufacturer's instructions and appropriately qualified personnel. The initial guides have not received an independent HVAC professional's review; no such credential is implied.
